What is the Wacky Wrangler Wrace?
The Wacky Wrangler Wrace is an event hosted by Coppell Middle School West PTO. The mission of this Wrace is to provide students with a fun and beneficial activity that promotes good sportsmanship and living a healthy lifestyle.
When is the Wrace?
The Wrace is on October 28, 2017 at Andy Brown East in Coppell. Check in starts at 7:30 am for the 1 mile fun run and 8:00 am for the 5K.
What will the PTO do with the proceeds from the Wrace?
They will be used for teacher scholarships for classroom use, special campus projects, scholarships for students in need, special programs for student presentations and other classroom needs.
How do I get my t-shirt and bib?
There will be a packet pickup on October 26 at Dick's Sporting Goods in Irving (Market Place) from 5-7 pm and on October 27 at Ace Hardware in Coppell from 5-7pm for those who have registered by October 23. If you can't come to one of these locations, you can also pick it up the day of at the race. If you register after October 23, you must pick up your t-shirt and bib at the race.
Will I be timed?
No, but there will be prizes for the 5K in each age category for the top 5 runners (12 and under and 13 and over). The top 5 runners in the fun run will also receive a prize.
May I register at the Wrace?
Yes, but you will not be guaranteed a t-shirt and prices will go up to $25 per person from $15 for the fun run and $20 for the 5K . Order online before October 11th at 6 pm to get a shirt! If you register at the Wrace, we can take cash, checks or a credit card.
Will there be food or drink at the Wrace?
We will have water stations for the 5K and light snacks at the end of the Wrace.
What if I don't want to come to the Wrace but still want a t-shirt?
There is a sleep in option that is $10.
How do I volunteer for the Wrace?
We have many volunteer opportunities! Go to the volunteer sign up.
