Write-A-Check is our largest annual fundraiser that allows 100% of the dollars collected to stay with the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) to support the needs of our students and staff to ensure the best learning environment possible. Every dollar amount helps! No amount is too small!

Veterans Day Assembly Nov 9
One of our most revered traditions at Coppell Middle School West is our yearly Veteran’s Day program. This is a special day where we take time to honor and remember those who have served in our nation’s military, as well as recognizing those who are family and friends of our learners and staff.
This year’s program will be held on Friday, November 9th. We encourage you to invite your special veteran to join us!
We welcome our veterans to join us for a continental breakfast at 7:30 with a flag raising ceremony afterwards with our 6th grade classes. The assembly itself will be held shortly before 9:00 in the gym, with performances from some of our fine arts programs and a special keynote speaker.
Volunteers Still Needed for Fall Book Fair Nov 5 - 8
It's time for our annual Scholastic Book Fair! From Monday, 11/5 to Thursday, 11/8, learners will be visiting the book fair. In order to make this a success we need parent volunteers to assist with working the register, helping learners find books, and keeping shelves organized. Please consider volunteering one or more shifts to help us make this our best fair ever! Click here to view volunteer shifts and to sign up. Thank you for your support!
CEF Superstar Nominations Due Nov 9
The Coppell ISD Education Foundation’s Superstar program is designed to give parents and CISD staff an opportunity to recognize the dedicated and hardworking students, teachers, administrators and support staff within the district. This year there will be only two nomination periods that match up with the fall and spring semesters. Student nominations may be submitted by any CISD staff member and all students nominated will receive a certificate. Parents and CISD staff members may nominate any CISD employee that they would like to be considered for the award.
The Coppell ISD Education Foundation is excited to partner with Verizon to offer our annual Robotics Camp designed for 5th and 6th graders, who will build and program their very own Parallax Boe-Bot Robot to perform a variety of tasks.
The two-hour classes will be held on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30 p.m. over 8 weeks starting January 9, 2019. Registration opens Friday, November 9th at 8:00 am on our website.
Register early, as there are only 60 spots available. Click here to register and for more information.
