Homecoming Week at CMSW!

This week Coppell Middle School West will be participating with the themed days that CHS set for their Homecoming week. The special dress days are below, please be mindful that all outfits must adhere with the CISD dress code and not disrupt the instructional environment.

Maui Monday - dress in your favorite island themed attire.
Twinning Tuesday - match what you’re wearing with another person.
Where to Wednesday - wear your favorite college clothes.
Jersey Thursday - wear your favorite team jersey.
Spirit Friday - wear your favorite Cowboy, Cowgirl or Wrangler shirt!

We’d also live to see as many WESTIES as possible at both the homecoming parade, Wednesday and the CHS football game Friday night versus Irving MacArthur @7:00 p.m.

Candy Donations Needed for Homecoming Parade

Please help supply candy for the CMS West float in the Coppell High School Homecoming parade on September 26 at 6:30 pm! Please click here to sign up. You can drop off your candy in the West front office on or before Tuesday, September 25. Candy should be individually wrapped candy, not chocolate or anything messy. Thanks!

Donations Needed for Teacher Luncheon

Please support our hard working staff and teachers at CMSW by treating them to lunch on September 27^th. Lariettes to Hold Junior Drill Team Clinic

Lariettes to Hold Junior Drill Team Clinic October 13th

The Coppell High School Lariettes will host a “PARENTS NIGHT OUT” Junior Drill Team Clinic on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 5-8:30 PM at Coppell High School. Enjoy a “Parent’s Night Out” while your daughter dances the night away learning a routine with the Award Winning Lariettes! Participants will receive a t-shirt and pompoms and perform their new routine in front of family and friends at the end of the clinic! Parents, get your cameras ready! Clinic attendees will ALSO join the Lariettes in pre-game SPIRIT LINE festivities at the October 19 Coppell Cowboys’ football game! Birthday Marquee

Would you like to make your child’s birthday extra special AND help our school at the same time?

We even celebrate summer birthdays this way!

For a $15 donation to CMSW PTO, we will place a birthday message to your child on the marquee in front of the school during his/her birthday week. This donation will go directly to benefit CMSW students through PTO's fundraising efforts. As with all donations to CMSW PTO, this donation is fully tax deductible.

Birthday messages will read "Happy Birthday student's name." The messages will be changed on Fridays. Some weeks, when school is not in session, will be double weeks.

CISD Seeks Input for Upcoming Boundary Realignment

The CISD community is asked to visit https://goo.gl/wL68NA to share top priorities for the District’s upcoming Boundary Realignment process and provide any additional feedback that should be considered by the Board of Trustees.

CISD is undergoing Boundary Realignment for the first time in five years to accommodate growth in the southern area of the District and balance enrollment in all elementary and middle schools. The timing of Boundary Realignment to be in place for the 2019-20 school year aligns with the opening of the District’s 11th elementary school, which currently is under construction in Irving and will open in fall 2019.
